This is a collaborative project with the long-standing wagashi candy shop Kagizen Yoshifusa, owned by a key Kyoto figure Yoshiya Imanishi, creator of the 2018 Kyoto International Film and Art Festival art project "My Kyoto Records." Sayako Hirano, who partnered as an artist with us last year, will design candy packaging, with some of the original works displayed at Kagizen Yoshifusa’s main store in Shijo.

Profile
Artist Sayoko Hirano employs a unique method of wood carving and painting to create semi-three dimensional works. Her works are also performed live in front of audiences. She is active in Japan and overseas.
